Protect and Defend: Security Analyst Role

Job Description:

This critical position is centered around ensuring the security of cutting-edge healthcare technologies. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for monitoring and responding to potential security threats in real-time.

Your primary objective will be to act as the first line of defense in our Security Operations Center (SOC), identifying and mitigating any security breaches or vulnerabilities that may arise.

To accomplish this, you will need to possess strong analytical skills, combined with an understanding of IT security concepts and cloud-based infrastructure. Experience with SIEM tools, incident response procedures, and endpoint detection is also highly desirable.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual who can collect, analyze, and correlate security data from various sources, including EDR and SIEM systems. The ability to provide initial analysis and response to security incidents is crucial, as well as the capacity to document all activities for accurate information dissemination.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Cyber Security.
  • 2 - 4 years of experience in a SOC, cybersecurity, or IT Security role.
  • Understanding of Cloud-based IT infrastructure.
  • Solid understanding of IT security concepts (firewalls, IDS/IPS, malware detection).
  • Hands-on experience with SIEM tools and basic incident response procedures.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for reporting findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
