We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining Linux-based production servers, with a primary focus on Ubuntu.

You will configure, optimize, and secure NGINX for web servers, reverse proxies, and load balancing, as well as build and maintain scalable, reliable infrastructure for web platforms and APIs.

Automating infrastructure provisioning using Ansible, Terraform, or similar tools is also a key part of this role.

Additionally, you will develop and manage CI/CD pipelines for streamlined deployments, handle server security, hardening, firewall configuration, and system monitoring.

Regular system updates, backups, and disaster recovery planning are also crucial responsibilities in this position.

Troubleshooting infrastructure issues, including networking, DNS, and SSL/TLS, as well as collaborating with development teams to implement DevOps best practices, are also essential aspects of this job.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must have expert-level knowledge of Linux systems, especially Ubuntu Server.

Strong experience configuring and optimizing NGINX for various use cases is also necessary.

A proven track record in server management, hardening, and system monitoring is required.

Deep understanding of networking fundamentals, DNS management, and SSL/TLS configuration is essential.

Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker required, Kubernetes a plus) and familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, DigitalOcean, or similar is also required.

Proficiency with automation tools like Ansible, Terraform, or equivalent and strong scripting abilities in Bash (Python is a plus) are necessary.

Experience setting up secure, high-availability, production-grade environments and a solid focus on system security, data backups, and disaster recovery are also essential.

Preferred Skills

Experience with Kubernetes or other orchestration platforms and familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases (MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL) are preferred.

Exposure to CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions and knowledge of serverless or microservices architecture are also desirable.
