Job Summary

This is a challenging role for an experienced maintenance professional to oversee the upkeep of equipment and infrastructure, ensuring optimal availability for production. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in troubleshooting and preventive maintenance of industrial machinery, including hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC-based systems.

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. To ensure that equipment and infrastructure are properly maintained, identifying potential issues before they become major problems.">
  2. To coordinate emergency repairs, prioritizing tasks to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.">
  3. To plan, schedule, and execute preventive maintenance programs for plant and equipment.">
  4. To manage spare parts inventory, balancing stock levels with operational needs.">
  5. To analyze equipment performance, recommending modifications or upgrades to improve productivity and efficiency.">
  6. To supervise the operation of equipment, ensuring correct functioning and proper distribution of utilities such as electricity, air, and water.">
  7. To advise management and other departments on the acquisition, installation, and operation of machinery and spare parts.">
  8. To maintain environmental sustainability by implementing eco-friendly practices.">
  9. To train and motivate staff, assigning tasks and monitoring performance to achieve departmental objectives.">
  10. To communicate company policies and instructions to staff, promoting constructive discipline and working harmony.">
  11. To appraise staff performance, recommending promotions or disciplinary action as needed.">
  12. To ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, authorizing overtime and leaves according to company rules.">
  13. To facilitate communication between divisions and departments, fostering a smooth and efficient work environment.">
  14. To conduct training sessions for staff, enhancing their skills and knowledge.">

Requirements

The successful candidate will be a graduate engineer with at least 10 years of experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in a relevant field. Diploma holders with B-Tech qualifications may also be considered, provided they have sound hands-on experience.
