DevOps Engineer

A skilled DevOps Engineer is required to enhance deployment processes, improve system reliability, and ensure the scalability and security of infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in container technologies, cloud platforms, CI/CD pipeline development, and infrastructure automation. The role requires close collaboration with development and operations teams to develop and maintain expertise in container technologies like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes. This includes managing containerized applications and microservices architectures, ensuring consistency, scalability, and performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain expertise in container technologies like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
  • Manage containerized applications and microservices architectures, ensuring consistency, scalability, and performance.
  • Implement and support CI/CD pipelines, integrating tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS CodePipeline for reliable and automated deployments.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and deployment pipelines using tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
  • Design and implement monitoring, alerting, and logging systems using tools like Prometheus, Nagios, and the ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana).
  • Write and maintain scripts (e.g., Bash, Python, or Ruby) to automate repetitive tasks and system integrations.
  • Collaborate across teams to identify and address performance bottlenecks and improve the overall software development lifecycle.
  • Support and maintain infrastructure across cloud platforms, including AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and Oracle Cloud.
  • Identify and propose improvements in development and operational processes.
  • Learn and apply security best practices, including access control, encryption, and vulnerability assessments.
  • Troubleshoot issues effectively, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.

Required Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 3–5+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineering roles.
  • Proficiency in container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience with CI/CD tools and automation workflows.
  • Solid scripting skills in Bash, Python, or Ruby.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Nagios, ELK Stack, etc.).
  • Working knowledge of cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or Oracle).
  • Experience with infrastructure as code and configuration management tools (Terraform, Ansible).
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • A collaborative mindset with the ability to communicate effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
