Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated professional to join our team as a Deputy Manager - IT. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in performing risk management, internal controls, and governance of Information Technology systems, business applications, and IT infrastructure.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Developing the Annual Internal Audit Plan: Support the Manager - IT & Infrastructure in developing the annual internal audit plan for review and approval by senior management.
  • Supporting Internal Audit Assignments: Assist in developing internal audit and assurance assignments related to Information Technology systems and infrastructure.
  • Audit Framework and Templates: Prepare an audit framework, standard templates, and checklists in the context of the approved audit plan across the organization.
  • Conducting IT Audits: Conduct IT audits covering system applications and IT processes, and prepare reports for review by the Manager.
  • Presentations for the Audit Committee: Assist in preparing presentations for the Audit Committee to discuss internal audit reports.
  • Reviewing IT Management Policies: Review IT management policies and procedures such as change management, business continuity planning/disaster recovery, and information security to ensure adequate internal controls.
  • Compliance with Enterprise Risk Management Framework: Ensure compliance with the Enterprise Risk Management Framework enforced in the organization while performing job responsibilities in accordance with assigned roles.
  • Compliance with Business Principles and Ethics Policy / Code of Conduct: Ensure compliance with the Business Principles and Ethics Policy / Code of Conduct.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Education: MS Computer Science or MS IT or MCS from a recognized university with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Or, BS or BCS with at least 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Candidate Profile: Candidate with programming background, especially in Python, shall have an added advantage.
