Drive Strategic Partnerships

Lead a team to cultivate long-term relationships with philanthropic organizations, foundations, and institutions.

This role oversees efforts to secure diversified funding streams through tailored engagement plans and communication strategies.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Donor & Corporate Engagement:
    • Cultivate strategic partnerships with donors and CSR leaders.
    • Develop and manage donor control efforts through customized engagement plans.
    • Represent the organization in key meetings with donors and partners.
    • Facilitate meaningful dialogue between leadership and prospective donors or corporate sponsors.
    • Craft compelling proposals, concept notes, and presentations for corporations, foundations, and institutional funders.
    • Collaborate with partners to co-design CSR initiatives and sponsorship models.
    • Ensure timely submission, donor compliance, and quality assurance of all fundraising materials.
    • Design and execute a multi-year resource mobilization strategy focused on sustainability and growth.
    • Deliver short-term funding wins and long-term partnerships across diverse funding streams.
  • Donor & Partner Mapping:
    • Conduct research to identify high-potential donors and CSR partners.
    • Analyze trends in corporate philanthropy and institutional funding to inform engagement strategies.
    • Create a database system accessible to senior management and the business development team.
    • Maintain an up-to-date database with profiles and plans for each priority donor.
  • Corporate Partnership Development:
    • Initiate and scale partnerships with local and multinational companies aligned with the organization's mission.
    • Design mutually beneficial models such as employee giving, matched donations, and project sponsorships.
    • Formalize partnerships through memoranda of understanding.
  • Internal Coordination & Systems:
    • Establish tools and systems to manage donor pipelines, proposal tracking, and reporting schedules.
    • Collaborate cross-functionally with program, finance, and communications teams to gather timely inputs.
  • Communications & Collateral Development:
    • Develop persuasive collateral for donors including decks, brochures, and impact reports.
    • Ensure alignment with the organization's branding and tone in all external communications.
  • Events & Engagement:
    • Organize site visits, donor briefings, and events that deepen donor engagement.
    • Recognize corporate partners through publications and digital platforms.
  • Capacity Building:
    • Train internal staff on best practices in fundraising, donor engagement, and proposal writing.
    • Foster a culture of fundraising excellence within the organization.
