Operational Risk Management Specialist

MBA/ACCA or CA-Inter qualified professionals with 2 years of relevant experience or equivalent are required for this role.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with senior management to develop a comprehensive risk-based internal audit plan that covers financial processes for review and approval by the Audit Committee.
- Assist in preparing pre-audit planning presentations for senior management to discuss potential audit risks, scope, timelines, and logistics arrangements.
- Work with the Manager to identify risks and controls for each process in audit engagements.
- Document identified risks and design controls during fieldwork.
- Execute audit procedures according to defined methodology and agreed-upon timelines.
- Perform audit fieldwork as per the annual audit plan.
- Manage audit resources to execute integrated audits and reviews of key business processes.
- Carry out audit procedures, including documentation of controls and testing their operating effectiveness against each risk in processes.
- Ensure audit documentation meets departmental quality standards.
- Identify irregularities or weaknesses in internal controls or performance.
- Prepare draft audit reports for senior management review.
- Provide technical assistance with investigations, special audits, and subject-matter expertise as needed.
- MBA/ACCA with 2 years of relevant experience or CA-Inter with 7 years of relevant experience.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
