Financial Analyst

We are looking for a talented Financial Analyst to join our team and play a key role in managing our financial operations. As a Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial transactions, including fixed payments and variable expenses, bank deposits, and budgets.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bookkeeping and a keen eye for detail. Key responsibilities include auditing financial documents and procedures, reconciling bank statements, calculating tax payments and returns, and ensuring compliance with all tax regulations.

This role requires the ability to analyze complex financial data and provide actionable insights to inform business decisions. You will work closely with the management team to develop and implement financial strategies that drive growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage all accounting transactions
  2. Publish financial statements in a timely manner
  3. Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings
  4. Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
  5. Ensure timely bank payments
  6. Compute taxes and prepare tax returns
  7. Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
  8. Report on the company's financial health and liquidity
  9. Audit financial transactions and documents
  10. Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary
  11. Comply with financial policies and regulations

Requirements
  • Work experience as an Accountant
  • Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including GAAP
  • Hands-on experience with accounting software such as FreshBooks and QuickBooks
  • Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables
  • Experience with general ledger functions
  • Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
  • BSc in Accounting, Finance or relevant degree
  • Additional certification (CPA or CMA) is a plus
