As an Immigration Associate Attorney, you will be responsible for managing cases from inception to resolution, ensuring precision, compliance, and the highest standard of legal representation.
Responsibilities
Advocate with Excellence: Manage immigration cases from inception to resolution, ensuring precision, compliance, and the highest standard of legal representation.
Lead with Integrity & Trust: Meet with clients to deeply understand their goals, provide transparent advisement, and maintain consistent, empathetic communication throughout their case.
Commit to Thorough Preparation: Conduct in-depth legal research, analyze case files, and gather strong supporting evidence to build compelling cases.
Represent with Confidence & Boldness: Advocate for clients in interviews, hearings, and court appearances, ensuring they are fully prepared and supported.
Collaboration: Develop strategic case plans and guide paralegals and legal assistants in executing tasks efficiently to meet key milestones.
Ensure Accountability & Development: Review all assigned cases at least monthly, proactively addressing any challenges and providing regular updates to clients.
Maintain Transparency & Efficiency: Track and record billable hours accurately, ensuring detailed case documentation to support smooth workflows.
Closing Cases with Excellence: Prepare case memorandums and oversee the timely and thorough resolution of cases.
Guide Clients with Clarity & Care: Conduct strategy sessions with potential clients, assessing their needs and ensuring a seamless onboarding process that aligns with their legal goals.
Foster Long-Term Client Trust: Build and maintain positive client relationships by delivering clear, proactive communication and personalized service that reflects our commitment to them.
Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
Active member in good standing with the State Bar Association (CA preferred).
Minimum of three+ years of experience in immigration law.
Fluency in Spanish (spoken and written).
