Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Serbian Interpreter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent language skills, strong communication abilities, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for interpreting for people using legal, health, and local government services. This will involve listening to, understanding, and memorizing content in the original 'source' language, then reproducing the speech into the target language with 100% accuracy.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Interpreting for people using legal, health, and local government services
  • Checking the non-English speakers understanding after each sentence
  • Conference, consecutive, and public service interpreting
  • Dealing with highly confidential information
  • Liaising between the service user and service provider
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • A degree in English Language, Literature, or a related field
  • Excellent language skills in both English and Serbian
  • Experience working as an interpreter, preferably in a similar role
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
