Job Title: Secure Banking Solutions Engineer

About the Role:

The role in short is a dynamic and challenging position that requires guiding and supporting developer teams in delivering secure banking solutions.

No two days are alike for our security engineers, as hackers and tech evolve daily.

Core tasks involve analyzing software from a security perspective, identifying and resolving security issues, and providing workshops to developers and QA engineers on secure coding and testing.

We need someone who can improve security in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) by ensuring application security requirements are met.

Closely working with customer-facing development teams and operations teams is also key.

Mentoring new team members and acting as the go-to person for security in your area will be essential responsibilities.

About You

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A strong understanding of application security and common vulnerabilities;
  • A deep knowledge of frontend, backend, and mobile security domains, with expertise in one or more of them;
  • A solid grasp of DevOps and cloud native technologies;
  • A proven track record in identifying, triaging, and resolving application security issues;
  • A background in development and a good understanding of the SDLC;
  • Excellent English language proficiency, written and spoken.

Bonus points if you have experience in implementing OWASP ASVS/M-ASVS and SKF, or facilitating threat modeling sessions.

Others topics like pen testing web and mobile applications, training developers on application security concepts, and relevant regulations like GDPR and PCI-DSS are valuable too.
