About the Job

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Lead Software Engineer who can provide technical guidance and direction to support the business and its technical teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing secure and high-quality production code, reviewing and debugging code written by others, and driving decisions that influence product design and application functionality.

Responsibilities

  • Regularly provide technical guidance and direction to support the business and its technical teams.
  • Develops secure and high-quality production code, reviews and debugs code written by others.
  • Drive decisions that influence the product design, application functionality, and technical operations and processes.
  • Serves as a subject matter expert in one or more areas of focus.
  • Contributes to the engineering community as an advocate of frameworks, tools, and practices of the Software Development Life Cycle.
  • Influences peers and project decision-makers to consider leading-edge technologies.
  • Adds to the team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect.

Requirements

  • Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience.
  • Experience leading technologists to manage complex technical items within your domain of expertise.
  • Experience developing cross-functional teams of technologists.
  • Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Strong knowledge of AWS services and cloud deployment strategies.
  • Experience with hiring, developing, and recognizing talent.
  • Experience leading a product as a Product Owner or Product Manager.
  • Practical cloud native experience.
  • Expertise in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field.

Bonus Points

  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Developer, or similar certification.

About You
