We are seeking a skilled Chinese translator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent written and oral communication skills in Chinese and English, as well as a deep understanding of the cultural differences between these languages.

Job Responsibilities
  • Translate internal company documents, marketing materials, product descriptions, etc. from English into Chinese.
  • Localize the company's website and social media content for a Chinese-speaking audience.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate translation and adherence to company style guidelines.
  • Review and proofread translated content for accuracy and consistency.
  • Provide interpretation services when needed to support internal meetings and client interactions.
  • Maintain and update the company's terminology database and translation memory.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in linguistics, translation, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in Chinese translation, preferably in an industry-related background.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in both languages, as well as cultural knowledge and awareness.
  • Proficiency in using translation software (such as Trados, MemoQ) and office applications (Microsoft Office).
  • Strong teamwork and time management skills, with a high level of responsibility and attention to detail.
