Payroll Operations Overview

This role provides payroll reports for Business Units, Stock and Patent Team, and works with internal and external stakeholders on payroll issues.

Key Accountabilities

  1. Process end-to-end payroll for various countries in the South and North American region, including the US and Canada.
  2. Work with HR to validate payroll inputs, confirm employee timesheets, process one-time payouts, overtime, leave of absence notifications, and severance payments.
  3. Validate payroll reports from service providers and ensure timely processing without errors.
  4. Perform variance analysis control and research variances to determine next steps.
  5. Handle payroll and tax year-end processing according to US requirements.
  6. Respond to employee queries regarding payrolls and timesheets.
  7. Collaborate with HR, Legal, Finance, and Benefits teams on various requirements.
  8. Maintain and update standard operating procedures quarterly.
  9. Adhere to operational controls with the US payroll manager in Hyderabad.

Skills and Qualifications

  • 3-6 years of experience in AMERICAS Payroll processing.
  • Prior experience with payroll transitions is preferred.
  • Strong analytical, numerical skills, and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Workday, and SAP.
  • Ability to understand deadlines and meet them with quality.
  • Must work in the US time zone.
