Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Plant Availability and Maintenance Manager to join our team.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the plant's critical units are available to meet production, quality, and efficiency targets by implementing preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance, breakdown repairs, shutdown planning, and execution.
  • Maintain all units in perfect working order through regular inspections and maintenance activities.
  • Monitor and control section revenue within approved targets by analyzing financial data and making informed decisions.
  • Manage spare parts ordering levels and stock levels to minimize inventory capital while ensuring timely availability of essential components.
  • Estimate and prepare budgets for maintenance and capital projects to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Execute jobs according to engineering standards within agreed costs by collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Ensure safe job execution to minimize risks and complete QHSE initiatives by following established protocols and procedures.
  • Foster a disciplined workforce and provide training, development, and motivation to meet job requirements and achieve departmental objectives.
  • Source imported spares from local markets to reduce lead times and improve supply chain efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in plant maintenance and optimization.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
