Sourcing Operations Executive Job Description

As a key player in Sourcing, you will drive the vision to be the Most Agile, Most Competitive, Most Digitalized & Cleanest Supply Base in the industry.

The role requires driving day-to-day activities together with functional counterparts on Planning, Development, Production Management, Engineering & Manufacturing Innovation, Costing, SEA, Materials (End-To-End) for specific country or assignment.

You will independently manage all production, quality, production availability and manufacturing efficiency and escalate critical issues and drive discussion to mitigate impact and achieve resolution.

Key responsibilities include managing relationship with factory management in applying the right resources, processes, tools, strategy to achieve operation excellence.

Additionally, you will rollout and implement adidas best practices and directions to the responsible factories.

You will influence factory production/quality middle management and drive change to achieve production objectives.

Making day to day decisions within defined scope through exceptional management by balancing risks, and with support on complex issues is also required.

You will validate and confirm T1 capacity offer and follow up on availability performance when there is a constrain.

Supporting sampling process for product development as prescribed by current process (i.e., Proto Sample to Size Set Sample)

Collaborating with Tier1s on quality of virtual & physical sample meets adidas standards and reflect design intent.

Carrying out Direct Development audits at key milestones together with Development Manager.

Identifying Create to Value (CTV) opportunities and driving feedback loop from production to development - sharing improvement areas/best practices/risks to improve future development.

You will provide input on development to production digitalized handover package to ensure complete and smooth transition to bulk production.

Leading by example to foster a culture of Diversity Equity & Inclusion that strives for an inclusive workplace.

This role requires strong leadership skills and ability to work in multidimensional teams, as well as fluency in English (written and spoken).

A University degree in product creation or related areas and minimum 5+ years of work experience in similar positions are the minimum qualifications required.
