We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Nurse Aide to join our team.
The ideal candidate will possess 1-2 year(s) of relevant experience in providing exceptional patient care.
- Communication Skills: Effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare teams is crucial. The successful candidate will be able to communicate politely and empathetically.
- Clinical Skills: The Nurse Aide will be responsible for checking vital signs, including oxygen saturation, and documenting the information accurately in our hospital management system (HMIS).
- Patient Care: The successful candidate will ensure that all patients visiting the filter clinic receive thorough care, including documentation of height and weight.
- Administrative Support: The Nurse Aide will assist in appointments and token systems as necessary.
- Stock Management: Maintaining adequate stock levels within the department and reporting any reductions to senior nursing staff.
- Cleanliness and Safety: The successful candidate will check the cleanliness of the department daily and report any issues to the registered nurse in charge.
- Patient Transfer: Assisting patients in transferring to other departments within the hospital under the direction of a registered nurse.
- Professional Conduct: Demonstrating respect and understanding for patients' wishes, needs, and lifestyles at all times.
- Problem Solving: Discussing any difficulties with senior nursing staff and escalating concerns if necessary.
- Information Management: Learning to use information systems and maintaining accurate written records.
- Incident Reporting: Reporting any concerns or incidents immediately to the registered nurses on duty.
- Emotional Support: Maintaining awareness of patients' and family's need for emotional support and understanding.
