Job Overview

This role requires extensive travel and stay at outstation points. We provide free boarding, lodging, food, and transportation to successful candidates.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Classroom Management Training: Train new teachers on effective classroom management techniques.
  2. Orientations for New Employees: Conduct in-depth orientations for new employees, including interactions with children and program planning.
  3. Staff Development: Teach staff the importance of routines for smoother transitions.
  4. Circle Time Sessions: Lead exciting and varied circle time sessions during orientation.
  5. Lunch and Snack Service: Serve lunch and snacks properly.
  6. Independence Skills: Emphasize independence by teaching buttoning, zipping jackets, and wearing hats.
  7. Center Management: Effectively utilize different centers and maintain order.
  8. Staff Orientations: Orient experienced staff on correct methods.
  9. Goal Setting: Set goals for experienced teachers to improve their performance.
  10. Training Needs Assessment: Attend to directors' forms for specific training needs.
  11. Room Arrangement: Arrange rooms as needed with assistance from the Regional Director.
  12. Teacher Handbooks: Update teacher handbooks, including curriculum guidelines and teaching methods.
  13. Staff Supervision: Supervise staff and schools, including weekly meetings with the Director of Curriculum.
  14. Supply Management: Order and distribute supplies and toys for classrooms.
  15. Communication: Communicate with floor directors about staff and child behavior issues.
  16. School Maintenance: Maintain school facilities and track supplies quarterly.
  17. Professional Development: Stay updated on new ideas by attending trainings and sharing information with the Director of Curriculum and staff.
  18. Meeting Notes: Supply individualized meeting notes to schools before staff meetings.
  19. Library Management: Update libraries at schools monthly and track missing books.
  20. Procedure Compliance: Ensure all schools follow the same procedures.
  21. Environmental Maintenance: Oversee environmental maintenance and postings.

Accountability to the Director of Curriculum Includes:

The end result of this role is a smoother running of each classroom, continual improvement of all staff, smoother operation of the school, new staff who know what to do, and seasoned staff who are continually improving.

We work closely with floor directors to assess each staff member and make improvement plans collaboratively. The end result aims to create an environment where every child can learn effectively.
