Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Instrumentation Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on expertise and curious problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance on pressure transmitters, valves, regulators, and associated instrumentation. They will also troubleshoot instrumentation and control systems for performance anomalies and resolve faults.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Operations & Maintenance
    1. Perform routine inspections and maintenance tasks on pressure transmitters, valves, and regulators.
    2. Troubleshoot instrumentation and control systems to identify and resolve performance issues.
    3. Conduct calibrations and loop checks of pressure transmitters and valves.
  2. Solar & Battery Systems
    1. Perform routine maintenance tasks on solar panels, charge controllers, and battery banks.
    2. Ensure power availability by troubleshooting charging/storage faults.
  3. Documentation & Reporting
    1. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and reports.
    2. Assist in preparing technical reports for inspections, failures, and compliance checks.
  4. Compliance & Safety
    1. Adhere to industry and company-specific safety standards.
Qualifications & Requirements:

Education

  1. DAE in Electrical, Instrumentation, or Electronics (or equivalent).

Experience

  1. 5–7 years in a field role within gas utilities or Operations & Maintenance.
  2. Hands-on experience with brands like Endress+Hauser preferred.
Essential Skills:
  1. Strong working knowledge of pressure control and valve body.
  2. Basic knowledge of solar charging systems and battery maintenance.
  3. Ability to read P&ID drawings and instrument loop diagrams.
  4. Good troubleshooting and fault analysis skills.
  5. Proficient in using multimeters, HART communicators, and basic calibration tools.
  6. Strong communication and reporting skills.
Additional Requirements:
  1. Frequent travel to remote field sites expected.
  2. Comfortable working independently.
  3. Willingness to be available for on-call duties or emergency situations.
