Job Summary:

An experienced finance professional is required to oversee the financial health of an organization, ensuring its viability. Key responsibilities include monitoring cash flow, profitability, managing expenses, and producing accurate financial reports.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop strategic and long-term financial plans to support management decisions.
  • Prepare internal financial statements periodically and for meetings, providing valuable insights into the organization's financial performance.
  • Analyze financial statements and metrics to identify areas for improvement and inform business strategies.
  • Assist in preparing consolidated financial reports and journal entries quarterly and annually, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in discussions on consolidation and reporting, providing expertise on financial matters.
  • Identify process improvements and lead efficiency projects to enhance financial processes and reduce costs.
  • Support decision-making with financial analysis and data-driven insights.
  • Contribute to ad-hoc projects and reports as needed, utilizing analytical skills and knowledge of financial systems.
Requirements
  • Possess a strong understanding of financial principles and practices, including accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Minimum 7-8 years of relevant experience in a finance role, preferably in a technology or related industry.
  • Knowledge of QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, and other enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, as well as experience with taxation, including corporate, withholding, sales, and income tax.
  • Excellent team management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team to achieve financial goals.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas and data analysis techniques.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate financial information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage accounts receivable and payable, as well as maintain accurate financial records.
  • Familiarity with US taxes and accounting, with experience working with US firms or technology companies preferred.
