Job Title: English Language Assessor

We are seeking an experienced English Language Assessor to join our team. As an English Language Assessor, you will play a crucial role in evaluating the language proficiency of employees and ensuring they meet the required standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Language Assessments: Conduct thorough language assessments for new and existing employees, including those who are being interviewed.
  • Call Quality Monitoring: Monitor the quality of calls made by employees on a daily basis, providing feedback and coaching to improve their spoken English skills.
  • Coaching and Mentoring: Provide one-on-one coaching and mentoring to staff to improve their English language skills, focusing on areas such as vocabulary, pronunciation, and grammar.
  • Quality Assurance: Review transcribed files to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Assessment Development: Develop and maintain auto-scored English language proficiency assessments to evaluate job applicants' ability to communicate effectively with customers worldwide.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Education: Graduate degree in English Literature, Applied Linguistics, Educational Linguistics, Psychology, or related field, with a focus on language proficiency assessment and research.
  • Experience: At least 4-5 years of experience in English teaching, preferably in IELTS/PTE or Cambridge English Exams.
  • Certifications: IELTS/CEFR certification, PTE, language certificate, Oxford English Test, and British Council experience is a must.
  • Skills: Proficient written and spoken English language skills, familiar with UK English dialect, dedicated to assigned tasks, quick learner, team player, and solution provider.
