Job Description

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Transaction Support Specialist. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling financial and non-financial transactions in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Transaction Execution: Handle a range of financial transactions, including cash deposits, withdrawals, remittances, and utility bill payments, ensuring compliance with regulations and established turn-around times.
  • Voucher Preparation: Prepare vouchers for daily operational activities, adhering to Bank/SBP regulations.
  • Reporting and Record-Keeping: Ensure accurate preparation of reports, logs, and registers on operational activities, such as cheque book issuance and locker room records.
  • Cash Counter Management: Close the cash counter at day-end, reconcile cash balances in the core-banking system, and balance physical cash inventory in the vault and ATM.
  • Cash Storage and Handling: Properly store and handle cash and security stationary in the branch vault.
  • Customer Support: Provide effective support to customers, focusing on transaction accuracy and low turn-around times.
  • Issue Resolution: Resolve outstanding issues and lapses in daily operational activities, coordinating with senior colleagues.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Maintain familiarity with regulatory requirements through regular review of Bank and SBP circulars/notifications.
  • Internal Audit and Inspection: Execute branch vault/cash counter transactions as required by internal audit/SBP inspection teams.
  • Customer Verification: Screen and verify customer identity, entering correct details in the system during transaction execution.
  • Cash Movement: Coordinate physical cash movement from/to the branch vault with approved security companies.
