Job Summary:

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for supporting complete end-to-end payroll activities, including payroll analysis and review, payroll reporting, and year-end activities. This includes providing payroll reports for various stakeholders, working with internal and external teams on payroll issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Process end-to-end payroll for various countries in South and North American regions.
  2. Work with HR to validate payroll inputs, confirm employee timesheets, and provide timely information to payroll service providers.
  3. Validate payroll reports shared by service providers and ensure accurate processing without errors.
  4. Perform variance analysis control and research variances to determine next steps.
  5. Handle payroll and tax year-end processing based on US specific requirements.
  6. Assist employees with queries regarding payrolls and timesheets.
  7. Maintain/update standard operating procedures on a regular basis.
  8. Adhere to operational controls with the US payroll manager.

Requirements:

  1. 3-6 years of experience in Americas Payroll processing.
  2. Prior experience in payroll transition is preferred.
  3. Strong analytical, numerical skills, and attention to detail.
  4. Good communication skills.
  5. Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Workday, and SAP.
  6. Ability to meet deadlines and ensure quality results.
