Job Title: Senior Structural Design Expert

The purpose of this role is to oversee the design and review of structural drawings and specifications during the project's design phase. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of civil engineering principles, along with experience in designing, constructing, and planning buildings and infrastructure projects.

A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and 10-15 years of experience in structural design are required for this position. Proficiency in software such as ETABS, SAFE, SAP, STAAD, AutoCAD, Revit, Sketchup, and MS Office is also essential. Additionally, the candidate should be knowledgeable about international codes and standards related to structure design.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and ensure compliance of structural design drawings and specifications during the design stage.
  • Develop detailed design requirements and specifications for tender packages.
  • Verify accuracy of Civil/Structure B.O.Q items.
  • Coordinate with design consultants to achieve project timelines and deliverables.
  • Identify and report structural issues and provide proposed solutions.
  • Communicate with design consultants on technical aspects and design changes.
  • Collaborate with various disciplines and perform calculations involved in structural design.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.

Professionally qualified Civil Engineer with solid experience in structural design, construction, and planning of buildings and infrastructure works.

Excellent knowledge of international codes and software skills.
