Student Counselor Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Student Counselor to join our team. As a Student Counselor, you will provide expert guidance to students regarding study abroad opportunities and the application process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide Guidance - Assist students in exploring study abroad options and guide them through the application process.
  • Assist with Visa Applications - Prepare and submit student visa applications ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Individual Assessments - Conduct thorough assessments of students' educational needs and goals.
  • Stay Up-to-Date - Maintain knowledge of international education systems, courses, and institutions.
  • Collaborate with Admissions - Work closely with the admissions team to facilitate student enrollment and onboarding.
  • Develop Workshops - Design and conduct workshops and informational sessions for prospective students.

Requirements:

  • Strong Communication Skills - Ability to build rapport with students and address their concerns effectively.
  • Interpersonal Skills - Understanding of the importance of effective interpersonal communication in this role.
  • Accounting Knowledge - Familiarity with accounting principles and practices as they relate to international education.
  • Technical Skills - Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  • Problem-Solving - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Education Requirements:

A Bachelor's degree or related field is preferred.
