About the Role

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Home Manager to oversee the daily operations of our nursing home in Liverpool.

The ideal candidate will be registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and have a thorough understanding of all relevant legislation and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide Leadership and Direction: Foster a culture of kindness, compassion, and empathy among the home's staff team.
  2. Recruit and Retain Staff: Attract and retain a team of skilled care professionals committed to delivering high-quality person-centred care.
  3. Ensure Regulatory Compliance: Maintain excellent standards of care and support while meeting all regulatory requirements, including those set by the CQC.
  4. Manage Budget and Performance: Ensure financial targets are met and costs are effectively managed, while continuously monitoring and evaluating the home's performance.
  5. Develop Marketing Strategy: Create a strategic plan to maintain full occupancy and promote the home's services to potential residents, families, and stakeholders.
  6. Built Relationships: Foster positive relationships with residents, families, and all stakeholders, responding effectively to their needs and concerns.
  7. Oversee Administrative Tasks: Ensure timely and efficient completion of administrative tasks, including record-keeping.
  8. Risk Management: Manage and mitigate risks effectively, ensuring a safe and secure environment for residents and staff.
Requirements
  1. Previous Experience: Proven track record of managing a nursing home.
  2. CQC Standards: Strong working knowledge of CQC standards with a proven record of working towards achieving Outstanding ratings.
  3. Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills and ability to maintain effective working relationships.
  4. Marketing and Business Skills: Proven marketing and business skills within the private care sector, running a commercially successful care home.
  5. Patient-Centred Care: Enthusiasm and passion for developing high levels of person-centred care.
