Key Responsibilities

  1. Payroll Process Management: Oversee end-to-end payroll processing for UK staff members, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable UK taxation regulations.
  2. Accounting Expertise: Possess in-depth knowledge of accounting principles to ensure precise accounting treatment for payroll transactions.
  3. Tax Compliance: Ensure adherence to UK tax laws, including PAYE, National Insurance, and other relevant regulations. Prepare and submit required payroll-related reports to the relevant authorities.
  4. Data Accuracy and Reporting: Maintain accurate payroll records and generate regular reports for internal and external stakeholders. Conduct periodic audits to validate data accuracy.

Qualification and Experience

  1. ACCA or CA qualification demonstrating a strong foundation in accounting principles.
  2. Proven experience in handling payroll for UK staff members, showcasing a thorough understanding of UK payroll regulations.
  3. Knowledge of accounting principles and the ability to ensure accurate accounting treatment for payroll transactions.
  4. Familiarity with UK tax laws, including PAYE and National Insurance.
  5. Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  6. Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with internal teams and external agencies.
