We are looking for a talented Mobile Application Specialist to join our team. As a Mobile Application Specialist, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining high-quality mobile applications for the Android platform.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Create and develop advanced mobile applications for the Android platform.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deploy new features.
  • Work with external data sources and APIs.
  • Unit-test code for reliability, including edge cases, usability, and general dependability.
  • Work on bug fixing and enhancing application performance.
  • Continuously explore, assess, and implement new technologies to optimize development efficiency.
Required Technical Skills:
  • Strong Java skills, including working with Java 8 concepts.
  • Understanding of Kotlin and ability to transition to it is beneficial.
  • Strong grasp of MVVM and MVP design patterns and ability to communicate practical applications with team members.
  • Strong understanding of SQLite and any ORM adaptations.
  • Strong understanding of Databinding's/Live Data.
  • Sound TDD and BDD practices.
  • Strong unit and integration testing fundamentals.
  • Knowledge of Jacoco and Spoon usage.
  • Experience with Sonarcube integrations.
  • Sound Git/Gitlab usage.
  • Strong agile background.
  • Android SDK experience.
  • REST and JSON data experience.
  • Third-party library and API experience.
  • General mobile landscape knowledge.
  • Solid understanding of the full mobile development lifecycle.
  • Excellent communication skills.
Database Requirements:
  • MySQL.
VCS Requirements:
  • GIT.
  • GitHub.
  • Bitbucket.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 1-2 years of professional experience.
  • Bachelor's to Master's degree, preference given to Master's degree holders in Computer Science or engineering.
