Job Title:

Manufacturing Excellence Leader


Purpose:

The successful candidate will be a key player in driving Sourcing's vision to be the most agile, competitive, and digitally connected supply base in the industry.

They will support initiatives and projects that elevate the competitiveness of the supply base, enabling it to deliver high-quality products and excel in manufacturing efficiency performance.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Execute engineering and manufacturing innovation projects across all pillars of product and process, people, to deliver measurable and sustainable increases in manufacturing efficiency, quality, and speed.

2. Ensure Lean Manufacturing Principles are maintained with all projects, and Lean Manufacturing metrics are continuously tracked.

3. Support multidimensional events across all product types to identify short-term, mid-term, and long-term efficiency improvement opportunities.

4. Partner with machine manufacturers and attend industry trade fairs to keep up-to-date on industry technology development impacting productivity. Transfer knowledge into productivity improvement efforts across responsible factories.

5. Communicate progress throughout the sourcing organization and assist in building a platform for knowledge transfer. (SME, WME, etc.)

6. Perform SPIKE criteria evaluations at all suppliers for SPIKE June and December milestones.

7. Role model leadership to foster a culture of Diversity Equity & Inclusion that strives for an inclusive workplace.

1. Global Sourcing: Operations and Functional Teams

2. Global Supply Planning

3. Other Global Functions teams

4. External stakeholders: Sourcing Suppliers, Machinery, Technology, and Software solutions vendors

5. Industry forums and organizations


Required Skills and Qualifications:

1. Visionary thinking with up-to-date knowledge of where the industry is trending towards.

2. Innovative mindset and highly self-motivated.

3. Broad background in Industrial Engineering technology and application.

4. Strong knowledge and experience in Lean 6 Sigma practices and training techniques.

5. Strong project management, analytical skills, and problem-solving skills.

6. Strong influencing, people, presentation, and communication skills.

7. Proven ability in leading multidimensional teams.

8. Fluent in English (written and spoken).

9. Strong Microsoft Office skill.
