Radiography Professional

The Aga Khan University Hospital offers radiography services through its Outreach Services, providing access to primary to secondary healthcare services for patients in several cities across Pakistan.

As a Radiographer, you will be responsible for:

• performing radiological procedures as prescribed by clinicians and maintaining accurate records
• demonstrating basic competencies in processing images, identifying minor issues, and taking corrective action
• maintaining relevant equipment and making minor adjustments as required, reporting any faults or breakdowns to supervisors
• conducting daily quality assurance activities
• providing patient education and preparatory information on pre- and post-radiological procedures
• ensuring safety procedures are followed, including radiation safety measures for patients and staff
• complying with departmental standards and practices

To succeed as a Radiographer, you should have:

• a strong foundation in science subjects, preferably with a B.Sc. degree and training in radiography from a recognized institution
• certification as a radiologic technologist/technician from a recognized institute
• relevant experience as a Radiographer, preferably 1-2 years
• excellent interpersonal skills
• proficiency in MS Office
