**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team. As a key member of the engineering organization, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and managing CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure for financial payment systems and banking applications.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in GCP and OpenShift, with expertise in architecting and managing scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud infrastructure for financial applications.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Designing and implementing robust CI/CD pipelines to streamline the development and deployment of financial payment and banking applications.
  • Leveraging GCP services such as Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Storage, and Cloud Functions to build scalable and secure cloud infrastructure.
  • Administering and optimizing OpenShift clusters to support containerized applications, ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Developing and managing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions to automate provisioning and configuration of cloud resources.
  • Implementing monitoring solutions to proactively identify and resolve issues, and managing incident responses to maintain system reliability.
  • Ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements for security and compliance in financial transactions and data handling.

Requirements:

  1. Minimum of 5 years of experience in DevOps roles, with a strong focus on financial payments and banking systems.
  2. Proven experience with Google Cloud Platform, including services such as Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Storage, and Cloud Functions.
  3. Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and processes, including Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
  4. Proficiency in managing and deploying applications on OpenShift, including container orchestration and troubleshooting.
  5. Strong scripting skills in languages such as Python, Bash, or Terraform for automation tasks.
  6. Understanding of security best practices and compliance requirements specific to financial services.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Relevant certifications such as Google Cloud Professional DevOps Engineer, Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration, or similar.
  2. Additional knowledge about Azure, Oracle Cloud is a plus.
  3. Familiarity with financial transaction processing, payment gateways, or banking applications is highly desirable.
