Financial Analyst & Accountant Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team as a Financial Analyst & Accountant. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of accounting and bookkeeping practices and processes.

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated professional with outstanding knowledge of financial models, budgeting, and forecasting. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and maintaining financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. They will also build complex financial models to project future revenues, expenses, and cash flows, and analyze various business scenarios and their financial impacts.

In addition, the role will involve recording financial transactions, including sales, expenses, and payroll, maintaining and updating ledgers and journals, and ensuring financial records comply with laws and regulations. The successful candidate will also coordinate and assist with internal and external audits, develop and manage budgets, monitor actual performance against budgets and forecasts, and provide variance analysis.

The Financial Analyst & Accountant will also be responsible for preparing and filing tax returns, providing advice on tax planning, and ensuring compliance with tax laws. They will manage invoicing, payments, and collections, reconcile accounts, and resolve discrepancies. Additionally, they will process payroll, ensure compliance with labor laws, maintain payroll records and reports, and analyze financial data to identify trends and provide insights.

Responsibilities:

Requirements:
  • Experience: 2+ years.
  • ACCA Finalist/Qualified, MBA, BSc/MSc in Finance & Accounting.
  • Outstanding knowledge of MS Office; knowledge of XERO software is a plus.
  • Excellent communication/presentation skills and ability to build relationships.
  • Organizational and time-management skills.
