Transmission Line Specialist

You will be responsible for the design, planning, and oversight of construction and maintenance of Transmission Line & Grid Station infrastructure. This involves conducting site investigations and technical assessments, preparing and reviewing drawings, BOQs, and project documentation. You will also verify contractors' work progress and quality at site against approved plans and specifications, review and validate contractor invoices and payment claims, and coordinate with cross-functional teams including electrical engineers, contractors, and regulatory bodies. Ensuring compliance with safety standards, environmental regulations, and project timelines is crucial to your role.

Key qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's is a plus), minimum 5 years of experience specifically in Transmission Line & Grid Station/Converter Station Projects (500Kv or above preferred), and proficiency in Civil Design Software (e.g., AutoCAD, STAAD.Pro, PLS-CADD is a plus). Experience dealing with Government Authorities such as DISCOs, NTDC, WAPDA, strong knowledge of foundation design, soil testing, and structural analysis, and excellent project management and communication skills are also essential.
