Financial Director and Project Manager Vacancies Available

Established as a leading institution of higher learning, Government College University, Faisalabad invites applications from highly qualified professionals to fill the following positions:

Treasurer (BPS-20)
  • The ideal candidate will possess a Ph.D. in Finance or Commerce or Accounting or Auditing or Economics from a reputable university or degree-awarding institute recognized by the Higher Education Commission.
  • A minimum of eight years of post-qualification experience in BPS-17 and above or equivalent in the relevant field is required.

Alternatively, the candidate may hold an MS or M.Phil. in Finance or Commerce or Accounting or Auditing or Economics with 18 years of education in the field of Accounts and Audit from a recognized university or degree-awarding institute. A ten-year post-qualification experience in BPS-17 and above or equivalent in the relevant field is mandatory.

Another option is an MBA (Finance) or M.Com. or ACCA or ACMA or M.Sc. Economics with 16 years of education in at least a second division from a recognized university or degree-awarding institute. The candidate must have twelve years of post-qualification experience in BPS-17 and above or equivalent in the relevant field.

Project Director (BPS-19/Regular/on Contract)
  • The successful candidate will be a holder of a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university with twelve years of experience in the relevant field.

The selected candidate will be responsible for overseeing various projects and ensuring their timely completion. The incumbent will also be expected to manage budgets, coordinate with teams, and make key decisions that align with the university's goals.

To be considered for these positions, applicants must submit their application forms along with supporting documents, including educational testimonials, experience certificates, CNIC, three recent photographs, and an updated CV. The application forms can be downloaded from the university's website, and the processing fee for Treasurer is Rs.3000/- and for Project Director is Rs.2500/-. The completed application forms should be submitted to the Recruitment Cell.

The applicants working in government, semi-government, and autonomous bodies (including GCUF employees) are required to apply through proper channels along with NOC and Service Certificate(s). The age limit for both positions is 35-50 years, and the condition of age can be relaxed as per government rules/policy of the university.

The candidates applying for more than one post shall submit separate Job Application Forms with necessary documents. The candidate already in service must apply through proper channel by the due date, attaching the Departmental Permission Certificate with the Job Application Form.

The university reserves the right not to fill/withdraw the post without giving any reason. The applications, along with all supporting documents, are required on Prescribed Form in triplicate. The scrutiny of the applications by the Scrutiny Committee shall be final, and only eligible/called-on-merit/shortlisted candidates shall be informed.

Note: Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview, and shortlisting of the candidates shall be made in accordance with policy/procedure laid down by the University. The University is not responsible if call letters are delayed or not received due to any lapse of Courier Agency/Post Office/Telephonic Message. No TA/DA would be admissible when called for interview.
