Key Responsibilities
  • We maintain accurate and up-to-date preference cards for each specialty, reflecting the latest clinical guidelines.
  • Surgeons' preference cards are thoroughly evaluated to ensure compliance with hospital standards.
  • Equipment and instrument inventory is meticulously managed to guarantee seamless surgical operations.
  • OR preparation is prioritized based on resource demands and surgical schedules to optimize efficiency.
  • The OR is prepared according to strict protocols to provide a safe environment for patients and staff.
  • We collaborate with cross-functional teams to conduct regular equipment maintenance and checks, preventing unexpected downtime.
  • Staff training and preparation for complex procedures are conducted independently to enhance their skills and confidence.
  • PPM of equipment is closely monitored, and any issues are promptly reported to the Head Nurse and Assistant Manager.
  • We coordinate the evaluation and sourcing of alternative equipment and supplies as needed to support surgical activities.
Essential Qualifications
  • An intermediate or bachelor's degree in a relevant field is highly desirable.
  • A diploma in Operating Theatre Technician is mandatory.
  • Minimum five years of relevant experience from a reputable healthcare organization is essential.
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills, enabling effective teamwork and adaptability under pressure.
