About the Position:

We are seeking a skilled Transportation Planner to join our team and plan and coordinate the transportation of goods from warehouses to retail outlets and e-commerce partners. Key Responsibilities:

  • Transport Planning: Plan and coordinate the transportation process, including routing and scheduling.
  • Vendor Management: Coordinate with third-party logistics (3PL) providers, transporters, and courier agencies to ensure timely and damage-free deliveries.
  • Cost Management: Monitor transport and logistics expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities to maintain budget adherence.
  • Performance Monitoring: Prepare reports on logistics performance, delays, transit losses, and cost metrics for senior management.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Transportation Knowledge: Experience in transport or logistics is required.
  • Planning Skills: Strong planning and organizational skills are essential for effective transportation planning.
