As a seasoned e-commerce professional, you have the unique opportunity to play a key role in driving business growth and customer satisfaction by optimizing and maintaining high-performing Shopify stores. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) and funnel optimization techniques to maximize website performance and drive sales across various e-commerce brands.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Optimize Shopify Stores: Build, maintain, and optimize custom Shopify themes and templates with a focus on enhancing user experience, maximizing conversion rates, and aligning with brand aesthetics and guidelines
  • Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO): Analyze customer behavior and website performance data to implement A/B tests, optimize user flows, and continuously improve the conversion rates of all Shopify stores
  • Funnel Development: Design and implement effective sales funnels that drive customer acquisition, engagement, and retention, using data-driven insights and best practices
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with designers, marketers, and other developers to ensure cohesive and optimized design and functionality, leveraging tools like Figma for modern, responsive designs
  • Implement SEO and Security Best Practices: Ensure all Shopify stores are optimized for search engines and adhere to the latest security protocols to protect customer data and maintain site integrity
  • Stay Current with Shopify Updates: Keep all stores updated with the latest Shopify platform updates, features, and functionalities
  • Technical Support and Training: Provide technical support for troubleshooting and bug resolution, mentor junior developers, and conduct training sessions to enhance team capabilities
  • Conduct Regular Audits: Perform quarterly audits of all Shopify stores to identify performance gaps, recommend improvements, and implement changes to enhance site performance and conversion rates

The successful candidate will be an expert in web development languages, including Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and will have a strong understanding of e-commerce best practices, UX/UI design principles, and how to leverage these to drive sales and improve customer experience. Additionally, they will possess excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements
  • Proven experience (3-5 years) as a Shopify Developer with a strong focus on CRO and funnel optimization
  • Proficiency in developing and customizing Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant web development languages
  • Experience using Figma to create modern, visually appealing, and high-converting e-commerce designs
  • Strong understanding of e-commerce best practices, UX/UI design principles, and how to leverage these to drive sales and improve customer experience
  • Demonstrated experience in implementing SEO strategies and maintaining security best practices for Shopify websites
  • Ability to analyze data, conduct A/B testing, and derive actionable insights to improve site performance
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
