We're seeking a Unity Developer with 1-2 years of hands-on experience in game development. The ideal candidate is a gamer at heart, excited about creating immersive experiences, and has a good understanding of backend engineering (a plus).

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop Game Features: Implement and maintain game features and mechanics using Unity (C#).
  2. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with designers, artists, and other developers to ensure high-quality, immersive gameplay.
  3. Performance Optimization: Optimize game performance for mobile, web, and desktop platforms.
  4. Troubleshooting and Debugging: Troubleshoot and debug issues to improve overall game functionality and performance.
  5. Staying Up-to-Date: Stay updated with the latest industry trends, best practices, and technologies.
  6. Game Development Cycle: Participate in the entire game development cycle from concept to release.
  7. Backend Development (Optional): Contribute to backend development tasks such as server-side logic, database integration, and real-time multiplayer synchronization.

Minimum Requirements:

  1. Bachelors degree - BSCS/BSSE.
  2. 1-2 years of professional experience in Unity game development.
  3. Strong proficiency in C# programming within Unity.
  4. Passion for gaming with a good understanding of game mechanics and player experience.
  5. Experience with integrating 2D/3D assets, animations, and UI elements.
  6. Understanding of Unity optimization techniques for mobile/web platforms.
  7. Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
  8. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  9. A portfolio of projects demonstrating your Unity development experience.
  10. Experience with backend technologies (e.g., Node.js, Python, or similar) and understanding of multiplayer or networking systems.
  11. Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
  12. Experience working with AR/VR, rewarded ads, or in-app purchases.
  13. Knowledge of Unity tools like Photon, AR Foundation, or similar.
