The Resilience, Environment and Climate Change Unit (RECCU) supports projects across Pakistan to respond to the growing threat of climate change and mainstream environmental concerns into national development planning processes.
We are looking for a Project Specialist to support our team in managing day-to-day project implementation, ensuring high-quality results and collaboration with various stakeholders.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of five years of experience in international development, including programme and project design, management, and coordination. They will also possess excellent partnership development skills and proficiency in standard software applications.
In this role, you will oversee project implementation, manage budgets, and ensure timely procurement of goods and services. You will also coordinate with the UNDP CO procurement unit, conduct evaluation of bids and technical proposals, and manage contractors and contract execution.
You will be responsible for monitoring, evaluating, reporting, and knowledge management, as well as building partnerships with development partners, government institutions, and civil society organizations.
The ideal candidate will have a master's degree in Social Sciences or a related field and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Fluency in English is required, and working knowledge of Korean is an asset.
