We are seeking a Senior Research Assistant to support our research efforts.

  • Collect and store samples following strict operating protocols.
  • Perform DNA microbiome sequencing analysis on collected samples.
  • Administer preformed questionnaires before sample collection.
  • Manage and analyze data.
  • Oversee study documentation to ensure accurate collection and filing.
  • Complete fortnightly/monthly reports for supervisors.

This is a grant-funded position, and the selected candidate will be responsible for overseeing multiple tasks assigned by faculty members.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Bachelor's degree in Microbiology or a related field.
  • Experience in research laboratory settings (post-qualification).
  • Proficiency in basic laboratory skills.
  • Knowledge of standard operating protocols for collecting and storing samples.
  • Effective communication skills in English and Urdu (Sindhi preferred but not required).
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks.
  • Competency in computer usage with Microsoft office and statistical software.
