A critical role has become available for an experienced professional in Menstrual Hygiene Management (MHM) programming.

We are seeking a seasoned and dynamic individual to lead our efforts in promoting menstrual health and hygiene practices among school-going girls in Pakistan.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and implementing MHM activities in targeted schools, ensuring that the project achieves its objectives and performance targets.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating with education partners and schools to implement menstrual hygiene management programs.
  • Providing technical support and supervision to school-based staff to empower them to improve MHM practices among students.
  • Developing annual work plans and budgets for the project.
  • Leading stakeholder engagements and scoping exercises in target areas.
  • Implementing Behavioral Change Communication activities in the target areas.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A Masters/Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Social Sciences Education, Gender Studies, or other relevant fields.
  • At least three years' experience in sanitation projects with hands-on experience in MHM programming.
  • Excellent knowledge of MHM programming.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to observe and understand cultural and social contexts.
  • Good training skills, especially for working with adolescent girls.
