Job Summary

This is a leadership role that involves managing teams of tax professionals who provide services to clients in the region. The goal is to deliver efficient and effective resources while improving quality, managing risk, creating efficiency, and driving value.

The ideal candidate will have experience in financial reporting, tax compliance, and ERP systems such as SAP. They will be responsible for leading teams, supervising high-performing team members, and building a positive learning culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of tax professionals who provide services to clients in the region.
  • Assist clients in their financial digital processes, including preparation and interpretation of year-end closings, audit assistance, and financial statements.
  • Provide tax compliance services, including corporate tax returns and VAT returns.
  • Be responsible for overall day-to-day requirements in client engagements from an accounting perspective.
  • Monitor progress and deliverables, put in place standardized processes, anticipate and identify risks, and resolve or escalate issues as appropriate.

Requirements

  1. A bachelor's degree with strong academic credentials in accounting, business, finance, taxation, or a related field.
  2. Professional qualifications such as CA, CPA, ACCA, CTA, or ADIT are preferred.
  3. Minimum 7 years of relevant experience, ideally within a large professional services company or similar environment in accounting, reporting, and compliance.
  4. Extensive knowledge of Financial Reporting Standards, relevant tax rules, procedures, and guidelines.
