The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong background in finance and taxation, with experience in leading teams and implementing ERP systems.

Responsibilities include strategic financial planning, budgeting, and cash flow management, as well as ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Finance Division Responsibilities:
    • Develop and implement financial plans aligned with business goals, including budgets for multiple entities.
    • Supervise the preparation and review of accurate and timely financial statements, analyzing variances and performance trends to guide business decisions.
  • Cash Flow & Treasury Management:
    • Ensure optimal cash flow to support operations and growth, managing banking relationships and investment planning with a strategic view on liquidity and financial risk.
  • ERP/Accounting System Oversight:
    • Oversee the implementation and maintenance of ERP systems to ensure integration and automation of all financial operations, developing internal controls through ERP to reduce manual dependencies and improve real-time financial visibility.
  • Taxation Division Responsibilities:
    • Ensure accurate and timely filing of all local, provincial, and federal taxes, maintaining 100% compliance with evolving tax regulations and proactively addressing potential tax liabilities.
    • Develop and execute tax-efficient strategies that align with business goals, analyzing and implementing structures to legally minimize tax exposure and protect the company from financial and reputational risk.
  • Direct & Indirect Tax Compliance:
    • Manage all corporate, sales, and withholding tax filings, liaising with tax authorities for assessments, audits, and clarifications.
  • Handling Tax Audits & Appeals:
    • Take the lead in responding to tax audits and preparing appeal cases if necessary, managing external tax consultants and legal advisors to ensure successful resolution of disputes.
  • Strategic Oversight:
    • Drive restructuring of finance and tax teams and processes for better compliance and efficiency.
    • Develop internal policies in line with international best practices and local compliance standards.
    • Build and mentor a high-performing finance and tax team capable of supporting rapid business growth.
