Responsibilities

  • Technical Expertise
    • Maintain in-depth knowledge of life-saving medical equipment.
    • Review work completion data, projected scheduled work assignments, quality assurance issues, and new equipment inspections.
    • Ensure processes are in place to respond to equipment user requests.
  • Project Management
    • Work with departmental teams and clients on projects related to new equipment acquisition, installation, renovation, modification, or removal.
    • Analyze annual evaluation of medical equipment for replacement.
  • Quality Improvement
    • Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives.
    • Maximize patient safety by ensuring proper use, application, and operational performance of patient care equipment.
  • Service Contracts
    • Manage service contracts, assessing cost-effectiveness and recommending changes.
    • Review failure rates and repair histories on major devices and systems.
  • Maintenance and Support
    • Perform planned maintenance of dialysis machines and other equipment.
    • Keep records of service performed up-to-date.
  • Communication and Relationship Building
    • Become knowledgeable about operating and clinical aspects of equipment.
    • Support marketing/sales team during demonstrations/installations/trainings.
    • Develop strong relationships with clinicians, HODs, and biomedical departments.
  • Tech Comparison and Communication
    • Conduct technical comparisons of products with competitors.
    • Communicate effectively with technical departments of manufacturers and hospitals.
  • KOL Relations and Customer Satisfaction
    • Build and maintain relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).
    • Satisfy KOLs' needs and expectations regarding product support.

Requirements

  • Possess Bachelor's in Biomedical/Electronics with BBA or MBA.
  • 5 years of relevant experience in an equivalent position.
  • Excellent management, analytical, detail-oriented, and communication skills.
