This is a challenging and exciting opportunity to join our IT team as a Network Operations Center (NOC) Specialist.
As a NOC Specialist, you will play a vital role in maintaining the continuous and efficient operation of our global IT infrastructure, focusing on network systems. Responsibilities include proactive monitoring, incident response, and troubleshooting of network devices, servers, applications, and security systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Monitoring and Surveillance:
- Monitor network performance, health systems, and security events using various tools.
- Identify and alert potential issues, anomalies, and service degradations across WAN, LAN, WLAN, and connectivity points.
- Monitor critical applications, communication links, and infrastructure.
- System Administration & Maintenance:
- Support, configure, maintain, and upgrade company networks.
- Install and integrate new hardware and applications into the network.
- Monitor for updates and upgrades.
- Security Operations:
- Monitor security alerts and perform initial investigations.
- Escalate threats to the Cybersecurity team.
- Communication & Reporting:
- Communicate incident statuses and outages to stakeholders.
- Generate performance and incident reports.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Telecommunications, or related fields.
- Relevant certifications are highly desirable.
- 2-4 years in a NOC or similar IT operations role, preferably in large enterprises.
- Experience with network monitoring tools.
