Technical Support Role Overview

As a technical support specialist, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional technical assistance to clients.

  • To provide top-notch technical assistance for Windows 10 and Windows Server 2012 systems, ensuring seamless operation and stability.
  • To offer remote support to users via phone, internet, or remote access tools, providing timely resolutions to their technical queries.
  • To identify and troubleshoot WAN/LAN network-related issues, implementing effective solutions to minimize downtime.
  • To perform hardware maintenance and software configuration tasks, guaranteeing optimal system performance.
  • To configure Microsoft Outlook and maintain email backups, safeguarding client data.
  • To conduct regular data backups and restore files as needed, ensuring business continuity.
  • To monitor system performance and proactively address any emerging issues.
  • To stay abreast of the latest system developments, patches, and updates, applying this knowledge to improve our services.
  • To generate comprehensive reports on system performance and incidents for management review.
Key Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 1–2 years of hands-on experience in IT support or system administration.
  • Required Technical Skills:
  • Strong proficiency in Windows 10 and Windows Server 2012.
  • In-depth understanding of WAN/LAN networking principles.
  • Familiarity with remote support tools and diagnostic techniques.
  • Experience with hardware maintenance and software configuration.
  • Microsoft Outlook configuration and data backup handling.
