Security Services Director

A highly experienced individual is required to lead the security operations for a major utility company.
Key Responsibilities:- Asset Protection: Ensure the security and protection of assets through effective resource allocation and coordination with law enforcement agencies.
- Industrial Relations: Manage interactions with local union staff, collaborating with Geographical Heads and IR Officials to address concerns and issues.
- Liaison and Intelligence: Maintain strong relationships with local intelligence networks and law enforcement agencies to stay informed about potential security threats.
- Security Monitoring: Continuously monitor the performance of integral and outsourced security elements deployed in the area of responsibility.
- Local Information Network: Develop a network of local informants to gather vital information on potential security risks.
- Disconnection Operations: Assist in disconnection operations by coordinating with law enforcement agencies to ensure provision of security.
- Joint Industrial Load Surveys: Participate in joint industrial load surveys in the area of responsibility, ensuring accurate assessments and efficient planning.
This is a contractual employment opportunity requiring a seasoned professional with excellent leadership and communication skills. The ideal candidate should possess at least a graduate degree and preferably have served as a retired Major or equivalent from the armed forces, with a minimum of 15 years of experience in security management.
