Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Technical Lead to oversee the meter proving operations in our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Meter Testing and Verification: Ensure accurate testing of replaced meters, including Domestic, Bulk, and Commercial categories, in accordance with industry guidelines.
  • Transaction Monitoring: Monitor all meter transactions through CC&B and physical checks to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  • R&D Operations: Maintain effective Meter R&D (Receive and Dispatch) operations, ensuring seamless execution of testing protocols.
  • Quality Control: Evaluate and reconcile meters received, tested, and returned on a regular basis to maintain high-quality standards.
  • Lab Reporting: Verify punching of Lab Test Reports in CC&B - Device Test Module and validate existing reports to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Record Management: Preserve all MTL records (test reports, tampering evidence, transaction history, etc.) as a ready reference for future use.
  • Collaboration: Participate in periodic meetings with the regional Claim Assessment Committee to identify Theft & Under-Billing volumes among Commercial and Bulk tariff consumers, and collaborate with the Billing department to book Theft & Under-Billing volumes for Domestic consumers in a timely manner.
  • Operational Excellence: Establish and maintain a controlled environment for all MTL operations, elevating customer focus and satisfaction through effective delivery of operations.
  • Equipment Calibration: Anually calibrate Master Meters/Dry Test Meters to ensure accurate proving results.
  • Compliance: Comply with ISO 9001:2015 requirements for Meter Testing Labs and adhere to HSE&QA practices on the 'Proving Floor' and all MTL office areas, including the MTL-Store.
  • Operations Management: Maintain smooth operations in the MTL-Store and develop regional Meter Repair Shop setups, commissioning new buildings to enhance capacity.
  • Innovation: Enhance meter proving capacity by adopting modern technology and preparing technical specifications for the latest Meter Prover.
