Fx Artists play a vital role in creating captivating visual effects for feature films. They must possess a high level of skill and artistic expertise to bring the director's vision to life.

Responsibilities:
  • Developing effects that meet the highest standards of quality and accuracy.
  • Collaborating with production teams to ensure accurate bidding and scheduling of FX work.
  • Providing input on key shots, identifying potential creative and technical challenges, and advising on resolutions.
  • Creating 'hero' shots and effect templates and tools for the team to use when necessary.
  • Working with Heads of Department to review workflow and tools, alongside leads from multiple shows.
Requirements:

Fx artists should possess the following skills:

  • Proficiency in shader writing.
  • Strong lighting and rendering skills.
  • Ability to write C++ code.
