About the Role

This Associate Manager – Finance Services position oversees a diverse group of staff, focusing on recruitment, resource allocation, employee retention, and achieving desired results. The successful candidate will report to the Managing Director through the EVP Finance & Operations and the Manager Finance Services.

  • Work closely with senior management and HR to manage the recruitment, resource, retention, and result aspects of the finance team.
  • Determine the specific personnel requirements of different divisions to inform recruitment efforts.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the company's hiring needs in collaboration with the Manager Finance Services.
  • Guide and direct recruiters to find suitable candidates for the positions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor the status of all open positions within the portfolio.
  • Collaborate with HR to maintain an active pool of candidates for frequent and similar job openings.
  • Assist in conducting technical skills assessments for recruitment activities.
  • Support the non-technical skills analysis component of recruitment activities in conjunction with the HR department.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices relevant to the roles being managed.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • A degree in accounting, finance, business management, or a related field is required.
  • Proven experience in leading and managing teams, with a focus on ongoing personnel management.
  • Strong background in recruiting research, hiring, coaching, and managing personnel.
  • At least some experience as a team leader or manager, delivering non-technical mentorship and personnel management guidance.
